She's fancy, she's flashy, and shines like a diamond in the ring. Studying legends like Penny Banner, June Byers, and Mildred Burke, Diamond Purdue is a student of professional wrestling. What they don't know is that she's really the newly hired undercover Detective Wilma Murdoch of the Calico Aster County Sheriff's Department from Doswell, Virginia.

Wilma Murdoch was born in Fort Calloway, North Carolina, with a father in the Army. When she was 10, her family moved to Petersburg, Virginia. After high school, she went to a community college before pursuing a career in law enforcement in Doswell, Virginia, where she became a police officer. She wanted to move back to her hometown and requested a transfer to the Calico Aster Police Department and the Calico Aster Sheriff's Department, but the Sheriff's Department was the first to respond to her application. However, Sheriff Cheryl Sinclair had other plans for Wilma Murdoch.

Sheriff Sinclair launched a private undercover operation on APPW to get closer to an illegal gambling ring, with suspicions that high-level personnel were involved. Wilma agreed, as she was hired as a detective when she originally applied to be a deputy. Sheriff Sinclair hired retired ARPW pro wrestler and Algaheim Correctional Captain Darlene J. Nicholson AKA DJ Nicks, as a personal trainer for Wilma to learn professional wrestling. Wilma trained and studied tapes for months until she was ready to apply for APPW.

She was given a fake ID and cover story, changing her name to Margaret Perdue from Virginia. Sheriff Sinclair informed Wilma about the pro wrestling regulations and that she would need a heel PSE score to gain access to the heel locker room, where people would most likely know about any illegal activities in the company.

APPW Recruitment

Wilma, now going by Margaret Perdue, approached APPW promoter Waldo Wagner at the APPW office on Rudolph Hayes Drive, expressing interest in becoming a pro wrestler without disclosing her prior training with DJ Nicks. Wagner allowed her to train with former ARPW promoter and APPW trainer "Jumping" Jerry Hamilton.

Hamilton stated that she was a fast learner, but was suspicious of some of her techniques, as they looked familiar. Perdue explained that she was a fan of pro wrestling and named several people whom she studied, which impressed Waldo Wagner, as he had not hired a fan of pro wrestling since Robbin READY a year earlier in 2024. Perdue offered a contract.

PSE Score

The Petersburg Screening Evaluation is administered by Dr. Edna Petersburg, regulated by the Calico Aster Athletic Commission, and governed by the City of Calico Aster. As part of a public-safety initiative, the PSE determines whether a professional wrestler is classified as a heel or a babyface. Wrestlers who score from 1 to 49 are classified as heels and assigned to the Heel Locker Room, while wrestlers who score from 50 to 100 are classified as babyfaces and assigned to the Babyface Locker Room. A score of 0 results in disqualification. Active wrestlers who are disqualified are suspended immediately.

A wrestler may apply for reevaluation one month after the previous evaluation. The CAAC Director may also order a reevaluation at their discretion based on the wrestler’s in-ring or out-of-ring conduct.
