"Hey folks. I'm Garry Passion, the PVRA Calico Exchange sports editor, and what a shocker! APPW has new tag team champions! And guess what? They won without a fight."
"This here is Mildrock"
[Song: "Welcome To Mildrock"]

A month ago, during APPW manager Nedd Lloydd's Car Show segment, Nedd welcomed Jebidiyah Marlboro, a land surveyor and Mildrock's code enforcement officer, as a guest. During that segment, the tag team champions, "Dandelion" Danny Stubbs and "Fabulous" Ferry Houston, known as the "Moolah City Dreams," confronted Nedd Lloydd about a broken car he had sold to them. However, the team was confronted by Jebidiyah Marlboro, who revealed that he was the new manager of the number one contenders for the tag team championship, Cowboy Blake Dundee and "Mr. Dead or Alive" Lefty Slate, "The Mildrock Connection." Things got physical when Marlboro accused Stubbs of using performance-enhancing drugs to win his matches, and Stubbs shoved Marlboro to the ground before Stubbs was stopped by his tag partner, Houston. Marlboro received medical attention at the scene and was taken to Calico Aster Regional Hospital. He did not return to APPW due to injuries he sustained.
Three weeks later, during APPW Super Friday, LIVE at the Gordon Hatcher Arena on Rudolph Hayes Drive in Calico Aster, North Carolina—home of All Petalverse Pro Wrestling—the tag team championship match was scheduled for one fall with a 30-minute time limit. The Mildrock Connection made their entrance as the champions waited backstage. Commentators Dallas Warantine, the radio host of “Quarantine with Warantine,” APPW play-by-play commentator Fil Bradley, and APPW color commentator and manager of the Rockysteady Rave, Rocksteady Gargimel, sat at the announcer’s table near the entrance ramp in an area they call the Petal Bed. The fans waited in anticipation as “Moolah City” chants echoed through the 66,304-square-foot building.
A man stepped over the guardrail, showed his APPW badge to the security guard, and made his way to ringside. That man was Jebidiyah Marlboro, who returned to APPW. He grabbed the microphone from the commentary table and announced that the Sheriff's deputies should do their jobs. He returned the microphone to the commentary table and stood outside the ring by his tag team's corner.
Suddenly, the Moolah City Dreams’ music hit, and the crowd went crazy for their beloved heroes. Many fans had traveled from Moolah City to Calico Aster in support of their favorite tag team. But something was wrong… Dallas Warantine rose from his seat and went to the backstage area and saw Calico Aster County Sheriff Agatha Sinclair along with four deputies talking to the Moolah City Dreams and APPW Promoter and President Waldo Wagner. Sinclair informed them that Jebidiyah Marlboro had taken out a restraining order against ‘Dandelion’ Danny Stubbs, prohibiting Stubbs from coming within 50 feet of Marlboro.
Houston and Stubbs asked APPW promoter and president Waldo Wagner to remove Mildrock Connection's manager, Jebidiyah Marlboro, from ringside, but the lead representative of the Calico Aster Athletic Commission, Beatrice B. Calabrese, informed the group that a licensed manager can only be removed if they’re interrupting the immediate performance of a competitive athlete or preventing an official from performing his or her duties during a match, not before or after. The bell is not rung until after the referee has inspected the competitors.
A frustrated Ferry Houston insisted on competing alone against The Mildrock Connection, but Calabrese informed Waldo Wagner that Houston could not compete against two men, as that would require a special stipulation application to the CAAC, which could take over a week to approve. Houston asked another wrestler to compete on Dandelion's behalf, but substitutions were not allowed. The referee ordered the ring announcer, Liam Norton Broderick, to announce that the champions had 15 minutes to enter the ring, as the champions’ allotted 30-minute match time continued to run down. The crowd began to boo, not knowing where their champions were. Jebidiyah Marlboro paced around the ring, laughing, as Blake Dundee lay in the middle of the ring, moving his arms and legs as if he were making angels in the snow.
Wagner walked to the ring and asked Marlboro if he would leave so the fans could enjoy what they paid for, but Lefty Slate threatened Wagner and told him to back off. Wagner asked Rocksteady Gargimel if he could have one of his wrestlers from the heel locker room escort Marlboro away, but Gargimel hugged Marlboro and complimented his strategy. A frustrated Waldo Wagner was running out of options as the ring announcer announced that 10 minutes remained. Fans grew impatient, some throwing trash into the ring. Wagner ran backstage to find another wrestler who could resolve the Marlboro problem, but it was too late. Stubbs was on the ground in handcuffs, as he had shoved a deputy while attempting to force his way to ringside. The sanctioned match could not be postponed. The champions had no choice but to forfeit the match, crowning new tag team champions.
Some argue that crowning new tag team champions over a protective restraining order was the worst moment in APPW history. The challengers had the advantage of entering the ring first, and that advantage won them the tag team championships.
Because of his actions, Danny Stubbs is scheduled for a Petersburg Screening Evaluation with Dr. Edna Petersburg. The reevaluation could jeopardize his babyface status. If Stubbs becomes a heel, we could see the members of a tag team assigned to separate locker rooms for the first time in APPW. I’m Garry Passion, and this is PVRA News, the Calico Aster Exchange.
