About Isidora
In 2014, a computer programmer and instructor from Quezon City, Philippines, Isidora moved to Calico Aster, North Carolina, to help with the Blicker Bop project. While working with Blicker Bop, Isidora read in the Petalverse Exchange newspaper that Calico Aster Middle School was in need of a keyboarding instructor. Isidora, who loves children, applied for the job, as she did not believe it would interfere with her work with BlickerBop. After BlickerBop's successful launch in 2016, Isidora continued teaching there and has been since, starting her 10th year with the school in August 2025.
