If you're driving south of Calico Aster, NC, and your GPS takes you to Rooster Road, it's most likely that you're in the city of Mildrock. And where there's Mildrock, there's a Connection. The former APPW Tag Team Champions. It's Cowboy Blake Dundee, and "Mr. Dead or Alive" Lefty Slate, the Mildrock Connection. And they are not friendly to outsiders.
A short German man wearing a blue-and-burgundy dress suit with eyeglasses was driving through Mildrock, North Carolina, and stopped at the Mildrock Cafe. He asked the bartender where the toughest guys in town were, but they didn't answer any of his questions and continued minding their business. As the man left the cafe, he was stopped by Dundee and Slate, who asked the man why he was asking so many questions. They grabbed him and roughed him up a bit. When they checked his pockets, they found two APPW contracts. That man was APPW promoter Waldo Wagner. They looked at each other, and the rest was history.
The Petersburg Screening Evaluation is administered by Dr. Edna Petersburg, regulated by the Calico Aster Athletic Commission, and governed by the City of Calico Aster. As part of a public-safety initiative, the PSE determines whether a professional wrestler is classified as a heel or a babyface. Wrestlers who score from 1 to 49 are classified as heels and assigned to the Heel Locker Room, while wrestlers who score from 50 to 100 are classified as babyfaces and assigned to the Babyface Locker Room. A score of zero results in disqualification. Active wrestlers who are disqualified are suspended immediately.
A wrestler may apply for reevaluation one month after the previous evaluation. The CAAC Director may also order a reevaluation at their discretion based on the wrestler’s in-ring or out-of-ring conduct.

Slate is a loud-mouthed M branding-iron-carrying aggressor who speaks his mind regardless of who it offends.
Slate tells opponents, "Welcome to Mildrock," while threatening them with his branding iron.
Slate often demands that the Land Surveyor and Mildrock Code Enforcement officer measure the ring to ensure it's Mildrock.
Slate has a grudge against "Daily" Davey Anaheim, and often challenges him to a match in public, after fans post their pictures with the former Oak City Sparrows shortstop on BlickerBop, giving away his whereabouts

Danny Stubbs declined a post-match urinalysis requested by Mildrock Connection Manager Jebidiyah Marlboro in their appeal of the referee's decision. Slate and Dundee claimed that Stubbs was stronger than usual and wasn't reacting to their offense. They could barely get a two-count on him. However, Stubbs declined the request. Because of Stubbs's refusal, the referee's decision may be reversed according to the Calico Aster Athletic Commission policy. The case is still pending. If the referee's decision is reversed, they will receive winning compensation by disqualification, and restitution from the offenders
The Mildrock Connection is sponsored by Father Roger Murphy of the One Nation Church of Vilella. Murphy is the former mayor of Mildrock and has deep connections to the criminal underworld.
