Halloween. A time for candy, parties, popcorn, and movies. But from the Land of the Rising Sun comes a woman who embodies something far darker. Beneath the costume lies the epitome of darkness. She is the prototype of Halloween. She is the spookiest wrestler All Petalverse Pro Wrestling (APPW) has ever seen. Not for what they see on the outside, but what lies on the inside... It's Spooky Sayaka Hayes.

Sayaka Matsuda was born in Saka, Japan. When she was 9, she was a trafficking victim who escaped and was found by a mysterious fisherman wandering along the North Carolina coast. She was placed in the URM program and transferred to a foster home in the Horace Heights district of Calico Aster, NC, owned by Cherie Hayes, the wife of Calico Aster Police Chief Rudolph Hayes. After being adopted by the Hayes family, she would spend the remainder of her life in the Horace Heights district.

Solving this crime eventually led to Rudolph's demise. CAPD detective Conrad Delray was arrested for his involvement in a human trafficking ring. While in handcuffs, he grabbed the gun of his friend, Detective Charles "Chip" Godfrey (the current police chief), and shot and killed Chief Rudolph Hayes, which sent Sayaka down a dark path.

APPW RECRUITMENT

Her aggression and hours at the Calico Aster Fitness Center caught the eye of All Petalverse Pro Wrestling promoter Waldo Wagner. While exercising on an elliptical machine, Wagner overheard two gymgoers say they'd hate to be the guy she comes home to, as Sayaka's punching bag hits echoed through the gym. Curious, Wagner climbed onto a nearby exercise bike to get a closer look.

Sayaka caught him staring and hit the bag even harder with blood on her fists and anger in her eyes. Wagner saw potential. A desperate Wagner attempted to calm her down and offer her a tryout with APPW as an opportunity to unleash that anger on others, but an angry Sayaka yelled at Wagner to go away.

Outside the gym, Wagner stepped in front of a vehicle to save a black cat as the driver slammed on the brakes, honked the horn, and yelled at him. As he picked up the cat, he turned around and saw Sayaka staring at him. She took the cat from Wagner and agreed to his previous offer.

Her strength surprised APPW trainer and former Air Raid Pro Wrestling promoter "Jumping" Jerry Hamilton. They saw money in her potential. However, there was a serious problem. Her mandatory evaluation would send shockwaves through the locker room.

PSE SCORE

The Petersburg Screening Evaluation is administered by Dr. Edna Petersburg, regulated by the Calico Aster Athletic Commission, and governed by the City of Calico Aster. As part of a public-safety initiative, the PSE determines whether a professional wrestler is classified as a heel or a babyface. Wrestlers who score from 0 to 49 are classified as heels and assigned to the Heel Locker Room, while wrestlers who score from 50 to 100 are classified as babyfaces and assigned to the Babyface Locker Room. Any score below zero results in disqualification. Active wrestlers who are disqualified are suspended immediately.

A wrestler may apply for reevaluation one month after the previous evaluation. The CAAC Director may also order a reevaluation at their discretion based on the wrestler’s in-ring or out-of-ring conduct.

She scored the lowest PSE score in APPW history. There are rumors that she did something very bad before the evaluation. With the lowest PSE score, she is the captain of the heel locker room.

Making a name for herself as Spooky Sayaka, with her traditional Halloween attire and black cats, she makes no gimmick of her persona. She's become one of the meanest heels in the heel locker room. They move out of her way when she walks because she's unpredictable.

Antics:

Spooky Sayaka walks to the ring with her black cats.
As heel locker room captain, Sayaka often buys out the concession stands before intermission to deprive the fans of food. Because all APPW wrestlers receive a percentage of concession sales, the stunt does not hurt her financially as much as it appears. As a main-event wrestler, Sayaka receives one of the largest shares of the concession revenue. Her repeated attacks on the fans ignited an intense rivalry with “Rasslin’” Robbin READY.
Because of Sayaka's borderline PSE score, which could terminate her contract if it reaches 0, her pro wrestling matches are closely monitored by Dr. Petersburg, who sits in the front row during Sayaka's matches to take notes.

After the bell, she offered Sayaka Irresistible Milly's Peanut Butter Ringz, a popular snack in the Petalverse—something no wrestler had ever done before. A curious Dr. Edna Petersburg was watching from the crowd, something she always does when Sayaka is scheduled to wrestle.

Blue Mindy offered Sayaka one peanut butter ring. Sayaka ate it.
Blue Mindy handed Sayaka another peanut butter ring. Sayaka ate it and anticipated another one.

Blue Mindy offered Sayaka the entire bag of snacks. Sayaka grabbed the bag, but attacked Blue Mindy. She climbed the ropes and hit her Jump Scare finishing move. She did not take the bag with her after the match.

Conclusion:

It is at least as likely as not (50% or greater) that Sayaka was overwhelmed by an entire bag of treats, which upset her.
