Jelissa J.:
"Hello, I'm Jelissa Joslin from APPW Magazine! And we've caught up with former All Petalverse Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Big Larry Green. Big Larry Green knows what it means to be a babyface in APPW. Sure, his back may hurt. He probably feels like he was hit by a truck each morning he wakes up for the life he chose as a professional wrestler—a petalstar in APPW. However, he never says no to a fan who wants a picture, whether he's in Hammerhead Steakhouse, Calico Aster Regional Airport, or outside of Star Cluster Hotel. He politely agreed to sit down for an interview. Here at APPW headquarters on Rudolph Hayes Drive."
Jelissa J.:
"What's it like being Big Larry Green? Everywhere you go, someone is stopping you for a picture. Does it get tiring?"
Big L.G.:
"Being able to touch people with my presence, or even by meeting me, is a blessing. I wasn't blessed to be selfish. I'm going to share Big Larry with everybody. What better way to do that than being a pro wrestler with APPW? The fans might forget you sending someone to the ropes, but they'll never forget how you made them feel. So yeah, I'm gonna take that picture."
Jelissa J.:
"How important is it to inspire fans in your line of work?"
Big L.G.:
"That fan you touched by saying hello, giving a high-five during your entrance, signing an autograph, or taking a picture, guess where they're gonna be? In line, buying a ticket to see you hip-toss somebody, but nobody can do it like Big Larry. Ha ha. Guess whose T-shirt they're gonna buy? Guess who's gonna raise hell when somebody does you wrong? Guess who's gonna buy that pay-per-view? There is no Big Larry Green without the fans. I can feed my kid and get him the medical treatment he needs because I took a picture with somebody. That's the power of our business."
Jelissa J.:
"Are you at all concerned about privacy?"
Big L.G.:
"Privacy? I call that home. If I want privacy, I stay there. That's where I am, Mr. Larry, the father. When I step out that front door, I know I'm no longer Mr. Larry. I'm Big Larry. I threw away my privacy when I decided to become a pro wrestler and be good at it. How can I get upset with someone because I'M good at something? Fans are the business. They're not just behind the guardrail. They're at Kitty's Kitchen, Watchtower Bank, Burger The World, BBQ '92, Kaliyah's Pip-N-Go, the Habibi Mart, Reenko's Clothing, and even in Purple Serval Lounge, and I guarantee you, somebody's gonna have my face on a T-shirt. It's all love."
Jelissa J.:
"How do you deal with haters? Raheem Rahim Raheim, Spooky Sayaka, The Mildrock Connection, and even that new Ukrainian woman, Danko, I believe that's her name, they are not fans of Big Larry Green."
Big L.G. (smirking):
"How do I deal with haters? I don't... Some people bring their personal issues to the venues. Some are really mean. Really, really mean and lack morals, but it doesn't bother me... I don't hate the person I hip toss. Maybe I'll throw them a little further if they say something bad about the fans, but that's it."
Jelissa J. (curious):
"Absolutely. What is it about the purple yo-yo?"
Big L.G.:
"The yo-yo reminds me of who I used to be. I wasn't always the strong guy you see now. I used to let things bother me. I used to get angry. But one day, I was sitting at the Basketball court in Horace Heights, trying to clear my head, and a little girl walked up to me and gave me a purple yo-yo and told me everything was gonna be alright. That's when I decided to change. I didn't want her to be wrong about me. I got my shit together and invested in myself. Now I'm here. Whoever she was, she was not wrong... If she's reading this interview⸻"
Jelissa J.: (interrupting):
"It'll be available in the paper and on our BlickerBop page."
Big L.G.:
"⸻Yeah, if you see this, reach out to me. DM me on the BlickerBop. I'm verified. It's @BigLarryGreen1. Or, come to Pink House Barbershop. That's where I get my shape-up every Saturday morning."
Jelissa J.:
"This concludes our interview. I don't wanna take up more of your time, and I appreciate you doing this. What message do you want to give to people out there?"
Big L.G.:
"Hey, you're not taking up my time. Thank you for what you do for Calico Aster. For the people out there, I want to say, be a better person than you were 30 minutes ago. Improve the energy you put out to the world, and never stop learning."
Jelissa J.:
"That's Deep... Thank you so much. Big Larry Green, everyone. APPW's former world heavyweight champion. Hopefully, he gets his rematch. Right?"
Big L.G.
"Absolutely. We're working something out now, but I can't announce anything until the contract is signed."
Jelissa J.:
"Heck yeah! Well, thank you, Mr. Big Larry Green. It was a pleasure talking to you today."
Big L.G.:
"You're welcome, and thank you too."
Big Larry Green leaves the room.
Jelissa Watchtowers $205.00 to his account for the interview fee.
