About Robbin' Gs

With both parents in the Army, Germonte grew up in the Horace Heights district of Calico Alister, North Carolina. With Present Armz Entertainment in the neighborhood having the city's first recording studio, Germonte was inspired to become a rapper after graduating from Calico Aster High School, adopting the moniker Germonte HH. However, the neighborhood had tension, with a gang on the east side of Horace calling themselves Home Grown Killerz HGK, who were terrorizing the neighborhood and had influence in Moolah City, the bustling town west of Red Moose.

With the gang influence rising, PResent Armz Entertainment owner Darnell Bishop allowed non-gang members to record in the studio for free. Gangs were no longer allowed to wear their gang flags in the venue. The new regulations prevented HGK members, including their key influencer, rapper Tajay "Lil Yung" Young, from participating, claiming that anyone using the venue was an enemy.

The Horace Heights resistance began referring to themselves as Haters Get Whacked (HGW), with Obie "O.B Siddy" Sidney leading the charge with his hard-hitting lyrics, encouraging others to stand up to the gangs, and respecting Darnell Bishop for the good things he's done for Horace Heights in the name of his late wife Maria Elena Garcia-Bishop, who was killed in Iraq. Germonte changed his moniker to Robbin' Gs, meaning Robbin' Gangs.

The group recruited Army veteran Catrisha "Thikky-3" Mitchell, who is from the area, and Rita "Rita P" Patrick, who is from the area and known for her vocals. The group made a hit song, "What You Doing In My Hood," targeting gangs, which created a popular trend, making gangs in Horace Heights uncool, forcing many to drop the gangs, or relocate to other districts.

Robbin' Gs and H.G.W released another hit single, "Healed By The Club," where the group expresses how PResent Armz Entertainment makes them feel better after a stressful day.
